I grew up in rural northwest Ohio near Toledo. I received my B.A. in Film from Emerson College and moved to Los Angeles in 2009. Since then, I have worked on over 18 major motion pictures.

I began my career working as a Post PA on films such as Edge of Darkness (2010) and X-Men: First Class (2011). In 2013, I was accepted into the Motion Pictures Editors Guild (MPEG - Local 700) and have been working as a union Assistant Editor ever since. I have worked for industry-leading craftsmen such as film editors Paul Hirsch (Star Wars: A New Hope), Evan Schiff (John Wick 3), Craig Wood (Pirates of the Caribbean), Eddie Hamilton (Top Gun: Maverick), James Herbert (The Gentlemen). Stuart Baird (Casino Royale), Lee Smith (Dark Knight), Joe Walker (Dune); film directors Michael Mann (Heat), the Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity War), Mike Flanagan (Haunting of Hill House), Matthew Vaughn (Kingsmen) and Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland).

When I'm not working in a cutting room, you will most likely find me on a soccer pitch, catching a music show usually in the post-punk, synth or jazz variety, or exploring LA's food scene.
